Name: Aleydis
Class: Zealot
Rank: Still growing!
History: The name of Aleydis' tribe has been lost, trampled beneath the feet and blades of the Raven Host. What is known of her past is that she was high in Tzeentch's esteem but suffered some fall that left her mind shattered and her former comrades wary of her company. Not long after this shame, a Black Guard of the Druchii found her wandering the Chaos Wastes and took her under his shield. Since then, the girl has grown no less unpredictable but she has risen quickly through the ranks of Lord Semedi's own host. Whether she be slave or pet or his cursed right hand, no one knows, even those who must bend their knee to her as their High Priestess.
Personality: There is a sweetness to Aleydis that even madness hasn't cured, a maternal streak that manifests in whimsy. She is the first to nudge her fledglings into exploration of themselves and others, and she can preach for hours on the pleasures of mind, body and soul that have been gifted to mortals by the Dark Prince. There is no more fervent convert to the cult than Aleydis.
But when her mind or mood has taken a turn for the worse-- a tide that seems dictated by no moon but rather a deadly clock hidden within her head-- the girl becomes cruel, sadistic, and indulges in cruelty for its own sake. Then there is no pleasure to be had from her; even Essien bears the scars of these dark phases.
Appearance: Beneath the paint and beads, Aleydis is a small and sturdy girl, bred from a line of people that favored the steppes and a nomadic lifestyle. Her rough-cut hair is dark, but lacks the blue sheen of a true black; it falls in ragged waves around her face to a point just past her shoulders. Her skin is likewise dark, a shade of caramel that comes from heritage rather than exposure to the sun. Only her eyes are pale, a light brown that is not entirely natural in its hue. Those eyes have a delicate tilt to them, and are fringed by thick black lashes, but the rest of her features are strong-- a broad nose, prominent cheekbones, a wide and full-lipped mouth, and a chin that can only be described as bold.
She favors whites and purples for her clothing, as well as an excess of noisy jewelry, whether it be beaded headresses and layered necklaces, or stacks of clinking bracelets and anklets.
