New Members
Supplicant - All new members begin as Supplicants to the Dark Prince. This is a position of open-ended probation, meaning that it exists so that people can decide if the guild is for them. Should you wish to advance, you will need to post one in-character story or journal entry (let Essien or Aleydis know where to find it) and carry out one in-character event or role-played scene. The event or scene should have something to do with the rank you wish to rise to.
Intermediate (Full) Members
Initiate - Initiates are those interested in "missionary work", spreading the glory of Slaanesh through direct yet subtle means-- be it espionage, subterfuge or get-your-hands-dirty conversions. Initiates (and the Spymasters) frequently operate in Empire lands as traders, carrying much desired supplies and the seeds of pleasurable corruption to the enemy.
Novice - Novices serve Slaanesh as priests and priestesses, hoping to draw the god's favor through frenzied exploration of every pleasure known to the mortal senses. They also serve the Prelates of the cult in ways both menial and... educational.
Thrall- Every cult needs muscle and the thralls serve this purpose. They are the bodyguards, the grunts, the slaves and the pets of the other members. Greenskins must join this branch of the cult. The competition within this group is fierce, for they are generally seen as expendable, which makes it extremely important that individual members prove their worth.
Advanced Members - Note: Advanced members are considered officers of the guild; as such the requirements to move up to these ranks are strict and will require some investment of time and effort.
Spymaster - The most successful Initiates may rise to the rank of Spymaster. They are the voice of Slaanesh, and have proven themselves by spreading the glory of his name far and wide. To achieve this rank, members must post five in-character stories or journal entries (not counting the first they posted to become an Initiate), they must host three in-character events on a small or large scale for the guild, and they must role-play the conversion of one PC or NPC into the cult.
Prelate - Prelates are those who have caught the Dark Prince's attention through various means and are marked by him as being deserving of special favor. They exemplify everything that is desirable in a priest or priestess of Slaanesh, and serve as models for the pitiful worms who have not yet reached the true pinnacle of pleasure. To achieve this rank, members must post five in-character stories or journal entries (not counting the first they posted to become a Novice), they must host three in-character events on a small or large scale for the guild, and they must role-play instructing another PC or NPC in the proper methods of worshiping Slaanesh.
Thrallmaster - Only the strongest, the smartest, the most cunning survive what amounts to slavery or indentured servitude, and those who become Thrallmasters are truly the best, having won their place by proving their worth to both the Dark Prince and to his worshipers. Potential Thrallmasters must post five in-character stories or journal entries (not counting the first they posted to become a Thrall), they must host three in-character events on a small or large scale for the guild, and they must role-play a scene in which a PC or NPC follower of Slaanesh is protected by them, or a PC or NPC Thrall is bested by them in a way that would be pleasing to the god.
